In a rare scene, images of two lions attacking a giraffe were spotted in a brutal battle that ended in the death of the latter.
The two men risked their lives in the attack, which could have seen a different end if one of them received a blow from the huge giraffes' hooves.
Michael Cohen of Newark took pictures of the rare attack in the Kgalagadi Transplanter Park, which runs across the borders of South Africa, Yotswana and Namibia, quoting the British Daily Mail.
The giraffe weighs about 6 times the attackers, the photographer said.
The amazing images showed two lions attacking the giraffe with tremendous force, knocking them down.
The two lions used all the skills to deal with the huge prey from running to maneuvering and fast pounce and wasting the victim to balance, which eventually happened.
The photographer said that while he was at the scene, "noticed a huge giraffe moving very fast in the direction of the car, which quickly drove blood into his veins, and soon appeared behind the lions are going rapidly.
The two brothers intercepted the giraffe and stood in front of them at great risk, one of them jumped on the right side, the second jumped on the back, and continued to hit and run until the victim eventually fell.
